Photo Essay: pattern & colour at the Alhambra
Posted by in photographyWe stopped in Granada on our Andalucian road trip to spend some time at the Alhambra, a 10th century Islamic palace and fortress. Photographically, this was one of my highlights of the trip with so many exquisite patterns, gorgeous colours, interesting shapes and textures to feast my eyes on. As far as Islamic art and architecture goes, it’s as beautiful (if not more so) than anything I’ve seen in Morocco or Turkey and I’d definitely recommend it as a site to visit if you’re in this part of the world…
